今から約60年前、1968年12月10日の雨の日。東京の府中市で事件は起こりました。
当時、会社員のボーナスは「手渡し」で支給されていました。工場の従業員4,500人分のボーナス、約三億円を積んだ現金輸送車が、偽物の白バイに止められたのです。
犯人は警察官のふりをして、「車に爆弾が仕掛けられています！」と嘘をつきました。輸送車の職員たちが驚いて車から離れた隙に、犯人はそのまま車を運転して逃走しました。
暴力を使わず、頭脳だけで大金を奪ったこの「劇場型犯罪」に、日本中が衝撃を受けました。
